Alavert is used to eliminate the symptoms of year-round and seasonal allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, accompanied by itching and burning of the nasal mucosa, tearing, sneezing, itching and burning of the conjunctiva of the eyes.
Contraindication to the appointment of Alavert is considered breastfeeding, increased susceptibility to loratadine, glucose-galactose malabsorption, impaired galactose tolerance. The preparation is forbidden for children for up to three years. The syrup is not prescribed to patients with a deficiency of isomaltase or sucrase, fructose intolerance, and glucose-halo malabsorption.
Alavert for adults and children over the age of 12 is prescribed in 1 tablet or 2 drinks per day once a day.
When taking Alavert in high doses, patients may develop headaches, drowsiness, extrapyramidal disturbances, and heart palpitations. To alleviate the condition of the patient, he is having a stomach wash, enterosorbents and symptomatic treatment are prescribed.
Sometimes when taking Alavert patients to develop nausea, vomiting, inflammation of the gastric mucosa, dry mouth, hepatitis, fatigue, drowsiness, headaches, nervousness.
